Dr. Jamie Sieng DDS, FAGD is a native Texan, born and raised in Plano, TX and loves practicing in her home of North Dallas. She attended the Texas Academy of Math and Science located at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX in lieu of high school, graduated from Texas A&M University College Station with a B.S. in Biomedical Science, and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry – Texas A&M Health Science Center located in Dallas, TX.
She always knew she wanted to be a dentist after going through braces as a child. The experience of the great people that took care of her, and the ‘magic’ of transforming her crooked smile to straight made a long-lasting impression in her life. She spent 2 years being a dental assistant while studying to go to dental school, and knew this was the right career path for her.
During her studies at Baylor College of Dentistry now known as Texas A&M College of Dentistry, Dr. Sieng made the Dean’s List and received a scholarship for her high marks. She was an active participant in community services like Give Kids a Smile, officer of clubs, and spent a summer at Columbia University and Ohio State University externing with the pediatric specialist residents. She decided to stay with general dentistry instead of specializing due to enjoying all aspects of the vast array of procedures modern general dentistry offers.
She is a strong believer in always learning and takes Continuing Education (CE) courses to keep current with the latest technology and innovative procedures. She maintains active membership with the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, Spear Education Study Club Member, and CEREC Doctors. She regularly attends dental meetings and study clubs and recently (2020) became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sieng is married and has two daughters and two dogs. Besides being a mom and spending time with family, she loves to eat, cook and entertain with friends, and to travel.

FAGD stands for Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning Fellowship takes dedication to dental continuing education (CE) beyond graduation. Only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Fellows. When you see a dentist with FAGD after their name, you can rest assured that they care about knowing the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry. AGD Fellows practice these techniques in a classroom setting multiple times a year — not every dentist does this.
To become an AGD Fellow, a dentist must:
- Complete over 500 credit hours of CE.
- Earn 350 of those 500 credits in live courses.
- Pass an exam equal in difficulty to board certification exams.”
