Dental Implant Crowns

What are dental implants?

Implants are biocompatible titanium posts placed in the jaw that can replace one or more teeth. Dental implants are usually the ideal replacement for lost teeth because they look and feel just like the rest of your natural teeth.

What to expect when getting an implant crown:

After you have your metal post placed properly and the site has been given time to heal, Dr. Sieng will finish the procedure by placing an implant crown, which will be the visible part of the implant.

The implant crown will be placed directly over the top of the metal post and remains securely in place when you chew, talk and brush your teeth. You won't notice any difference between your implant and your other teeth.

Dr. Sieng will walk you through what to expect when having an implant crown placed and make sure the color and the bite are comfortable for you. Depending on the location of the implant, implant crowns may require gum re-contouring for the best aesthetic result.
